Brighton-based comedian Paul McCaffrey was a 2007 semi-finalist in the leading stand-up comedy competition, So You Think You're Funny?, at the Edinburgh Festival. Having trained with top comedy coach Jill Edwards, Paul now appears regularly at clubs in Brighton, London and beyond. He recently returned from the Edinburgh fringe festival where he was one-third of the stand-up showcase The Umbrella Show.

A. Jack Dee, Andy Kaufman.

Q. What are your favourite comedy clubs?

A. Comedy Cafe in Shoreditch, Komedia.

Q. What's been your favourite moment in a comedy club?

A. A compere saying 'OK, I've got an hour and a half till my next train, so I can do some more jokes for you,' and an audience member shouting out, straight off the bat, 'Get an earlier train!'

Q. What's been your best experience of Brighton and Hove?

A. Ben & Jerry's free ice cream day.

A. These are my real teeth.
